Tyler in the local Christmas Show!

Tyler has been taking Drama courses at a studio here in Mt. Horeb. He auditioned for their Christmas Dinner Theater Show and was cast as Beau, the fix-it elf. The kids put in a couple of months of rehearsals learning the show. One weekend, they rehearsed a total of 16 hours. We were proud of Tyler and his hard work, dedication and great performance! They put on four shows to full houses. Gotta love the ears...

Olivia's Ballet Review

This past Fall, Olivia began a beginning Ballet class with our local Rec Department. She had a wonderful, professional ballerina for a teacher. We loved the class. It provided great beginning instruction as well as fun and improvisation. Olivia loved it. During the review, she became very shy and goofy. She looked darling nontheless.

Halloween 2008

The kids love to carve pumpkins. This was the first year that they were able to do all the work themselves. Love it!

Olivia joined Brennan for his classroom party. She was a unicorn and Brennan was...I think Zorro or something. It's always interesting each Halloween to see what costume they create from the costume bin!

The day before Halloween, we participated in a church Trunk-or-Treat. We had a blast! Tyler decorated our car. It was definitely the best decked out car there! He was our distrubuter-of-candy-to-kids guy this year.

Halloween was a very, very warm day! We were able to Trick-or-Treat without coats, mittens and hats. During the day, we went on a family outing to the zoo. We wanted to soak up the wonderful weather.

Picking up where we left off...First Day of School!

The kids actually look happy to be starting school, which is surprising! It was odd for me to drive home after dropping them ALL off, and coming home to an empty house. I took a nap!

Autumn in Wisconsin

Autumn is a beautiful time in Wisconsin. We are enjoying gorgeous Fall colors. I had to take my camera on my last run just to take pictures. I thought the reminder of warmer days would be welcome during the long, hard winter ahead.

There is a trail through town that used to be an old military road/railroad. It runs 40+ miles from Madison to Dodgeville and is one of our favorite places. It's so beautiful and serene.

Nauvoo Pageant, Part 3 (Performances)

The final installment in our Nauvoo posts! You'll find many pictures of various scenes our family was in. We hope you enjoy the photos of us singing, dancing, whistling, skipping, running, twirling, listening, carrying, greeting, praying, mourning, cheering, freezing, marching and sweating. Be sure to click on them to enlarge them so you can better see our happy faces! We loved the opportunity our family had to participate in this powerful event.
